I keep getting notes from people, both online and offline, about how horrible the additional schedule is. I also keep getting notes about how great the service is and the additional vehicle is a great boost for East Bay riders. So were going to launch on Tuesday with the new schedule as outlined.

In scalar context, readdir returns the next filename in the directory until it reaches the end of the directory when it returns undef. In list context it returns the rest of the filenames in the directory or an empty list if there were no files left. As explained in the Introduction, the filenames returned by readdir do not include the directory name. When you work with the filenames returned by readdir, you must either move to the right directory first or prepend the directory to the filename.
I'm not going to pretend this is the end-all solution to your epic daily commutes, but it's a good start and will address our most immediate need: overflows at Alameda.
What I will promise, is to revisit this in 90 days...I'll put an invite on everyone's iCal to discuss the schedule, look at a split route, come up with a survey, and possibly, establish a new schedule to meet the variety of needs represented here. I'll even work on supplying lunch for everyone.
